This smooth yet robust blend highlights the apricot, peach and honeysuckle notes of Viognier, underscoring them with the minerality, crisp apple, and lime from Riesling, wrapping it all with the pineapple, mango, and papaya flavors and aromas of Chardonnay. Fresh and balanced yet lush, it’s complemented by hints of vanilla and a lingering finish of stone fruits. Despite its Viognier and Chardonnay components which shout DRY wine, the Riesling does a wonderful job creating this Off-Dry Argentine Trio white wine blend. Exposing wine to air triggers both oxidation and evaporation. But oxidation beyond a very short period of time is what turns a wine bad. Short period oxidation though releases some of the less desirable and bad tasting compounds from the wine and allows them to evaporate. So you end up with a better tasting wine, an untainted reflection of the grapes from which the wine was born. Opening the bottle just 15 minutes before drinking it will in most cases make a noticeable difference. Limited Edition Wine – Special Order by March 5 This white wine features tart green apples balanced out by smooth white cranberries to create an easy-drinking wine with a crisp, refreshing finish. Pair it with seared pork belly topped with caramelized apples, or a dried cranberry and goat cheese salad glazed with balsamic vinaigrette. Limited Editions Wines – Special Order by March 5 Each year our suppliers offer several Dessert Wines for special order only. We must place our order by March 7. Hence, if you are interested we must have your order no later than Saturday March 5. A $50 deposit will be required for each special order Dessert wine. But please note, we will not receive these Dessert Wines until late August/early September, so they will not be available for wine-making before then. 2022 Dessert wines will be in our Premium Series at $375 per Full Batch.
