Wine Making = Great Team Building
Team Building participants personally make, bottle, cork and label their very own bottles of wine.
Wine-making at Your Own Winery is a perfect team building activity. Fun, unique, educational (wine-making), competitive – and it’s Wine. Your Own Winery is a New Jersey licensed wine-making school – where you can select and make with our hands-on instruction over 50 different great wines. We start with wine juice, not wine grapes, so you can make and take home your selected wines in just 8 weeks. Wine-making with us is completed in just 2 steps/appointments about 8 weeks apart.
1. Free Tasting to select your Wine(s) – and Start Wine Fermentation that same day. A 60 minute session.
2. Fill Bottles, Cork & Label your Wines. A total teamwork experience. Competitive, who can finish first, and lots of fun. Four separate steps here, fill the bottles, cork, heat seal foil bottle toppers, and affix your custom label. Custom company logo labels included. At the end of this 2nd session, participants take home finished wine.
We can structure your team-building where your group (or just some members) participates in both steps or just step 2. The Bottling session is the most fun and competitive. Consisting of 5 individual steps to bottling provides great opportunity for team-work, extra socializing/team-building time, and the chance to enjoy your finished wine. All the wine-making steps can be accompanied with food and wine snacks, even BYO wine, making it an extremely enjoyable event.
Pricing
Our wines are made in batches of 6 gallons – which yields 28 bottles. We recommend 4-6 team building participants per batch – so everyone has a hands-on experience making their wine. Our wine batches start at $300 (custom labels included) – $10.75 per bottle. Based on 6 team members per batch – only $50.00 per person – and they go home with 4-5 bottles of wine each.
