Wine Cheese Chocolate Pairing
Wine, cheese, chocolate pairings class is adult fun at its best. A proper pairing of a cheese or chocolate with a specific vino results in the flavors of both that almost explode in your mouth, taking your taste buds to their highest level. But an improper pairing can have the opposite effect – actually leaving a bad taste in your mouth. A wine pairing party is a great adult event to host with family and friends – something different, fun and even educational.
Your Own Winery is proud to offer a private wine pairing class for small to medium size groups – minimum 6, maximum 12 adults.
The class is a 2 hour event, and includes:
- Instruction on the art and Steps of Wine Tasting with 3 white and 3 red wines.
- Pairing of those 6 wines with cheese or chocolate – your choice. While it sounds great, a cheese and chocolate pairing done at the same time actually results in too many varied and competing flavors, and thus not a positive experience.
- A Wine Tasting by the group to select 3 wines to be made and started at the end of Wine Tasting and Pairing Class. The group is welcome to select and start more than 3 wines, but 3 wine starts are the minimum for this private class.
- You might be asking, can we just do the Wine Tasting & Pairing Class without making 3 wines. Unfortunately, for us as a business it just does make economic sense, we would have to charge much more than than anyone would likely want to pay to make sense for us.

- 3 Half Batches (14 bottles each wine) of our Premium Series wines – $895
- 3 Full Batches (28 bottles each wine) of our Premium Series wines – $1,250

Your Own Winery is a New Jersey Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) licensed wine-making school. Opening in 2013 and located in Morris County, NJ, wine lovers come to us to experience the fun wine-making at its best. “Wine-making at its Best”, here’s why:
