Meritage (pronounced like “Heritage”, with an “M”) are provocative red or white wines crafted solely from specific “noble” Bordeaux grape varieties and are considered to be the very best wines of the vintage. Red Meritage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cab Franc, plus one or more of Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Carmenère.
Since being added to our long list of wines available for personal wine-making over a year ago, our red Meritage has been the run-away best seller of all the wines we offer, red or white. One thing that makes our Meritage extra special, the wine juice comes with a sweetener pac, which can be added or left out depending if you prefer an off-dry Meritage or a full-dry taste.
