Red wines, White Wines – and then there’s Rosé
Rosé is a wine that incorporates some of the color from the red grape skins, but not enough to make it a red wine. Rosé is made from many different red wine grapes, but with limited exposure to the grape skins, which give wine its color. The mixing of red wine with a white wine to impart a rosé color is uncommon and strongly discouraged by serious wine-makers.
Rosé offers a gorgeous color contrast to both red and white wines when presented in clear bottles. Because of this, many couples love the idea of 3 wine types and colors for their wedding favors – a red wine, a white wine and a Rosé.
We offer two Rosé wine options for your wedding favors. In our Select Series favors, we have a white zinfandel Rosé, which is slightly sweet and an all time favorite. White Zinfandel is in fact made from the deep red Zinfandel grape, a highly prized wine grape. We don’t know why its typically called white zinfandel, but we prefer to call it Zinfandel Rosé, which is a more accurate description.
In our Premium Series favors, we have a French Rosé, which is a dry style wine, and quite delicious. We don’t get many wines from France – as they are quite protective of their wine crop – so don’t miss this one.
BTW – there is no problem with mixing Select Series and Premium Series wine favors. Your total bottle count regardless of the series determines the volume discount you’ll get.
Our Wine Favors
- Select Wine Favors at $4.43 each (120+) are available in 7 wines – Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Chardonnay, Blush (White Zinfandel)
- Mix & Match different wines in groups of 30
- Favors are 375ml all glass wine bottles, which are half the size of a regular 750ml bottle of wine – and 2 times the size of the typical 187ml wine favors available online
- Bottles are corked just like a regular wine bottle – no screw-off caps here – and include a color foil bottle top just like a store wine bottle, and you can choice the color of the foil top to match your wedding colors
- BEST of ALL, your Custom Bottle Label is INCLUDED in the Price.
- We will help you create your custom label using a favorite photo, such as your engagement photo. Plus, we’ll even help you design different labels if you wish for the different wines you are giving as favors. You just email us the photo(s) you want to use – we’ll do a mock-up of your label(s) and send you label drafts for your approval and/or changes.
- Premium Wine Favors at under $6.00 each (120+) are available 20 great wines – all the same traditional wines as our Select Favors, plus many other great wines like Moscato, Rosé, Sangiovese, Meritage (aka Bordeaux), as well as several fabulous red wine blends

- With our Premium Favors, you and your fiancé can come to our shop and personally make your favor wines, starting with a free wine tasting to select your favor wines
- The wine-making process takes about 8 weeks, so please allow enough time before your wedding date
